INIMA welcomes Frank Sowade

INIMA is honoured to welcome Frank Sowade to its Board as the representative of the Portuguese interim management association AIM.

We would also like to warmly thank Maarten von Lelyveld for his valuable contribution over the past four years. His commitment and professionalism have been greatly appreciated and have made a lasting impact on our organisation.

Frank is an international Interim Manager and senior industrial leader with over 30 years of experience in automotive and manufacturing environments in Brazil and Germany. He has held executive roles including Plant Director and Interim CEO, with full responsibility for large-scale operations and results.

Since moving into interim and advisory work, he has led restructuring, turnaround, and performance improvement assignments across multiple industries. His focus is on operational excellence, cost and performance control, strategic planning, and delivering measurable, sustainable change.

Frank is known for working effectively in complex, multicultural organisations, aligning teams, and driving practical change. He is based in Portugal and works internationally.
